These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order you accept them. Please read the firearms section carefully — it is not boilerplate, and it affects whether we are able to sell to you at all.
Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Cavalry Drone Services LLC, trading as Black Ops Suppression Systems and B.O.S.S. Silencers, a federally licensed firearms manufacturer and Special Occupational Taxpayer at 16 Long Branch Ln, Stafford, VA 22556, United States. Contact: info@bosscans.com.
Firearms, suppressors and the law
Suppressors are regulated under the National Firearms Act. The following apply without exception:
- We do not ship a regulated item directly to a private individual. A suppressor is transferred to a licensed dealer in your state, and the transfer to you is completed by that dealer.
- Every transfer requires ATF approval. Approval times are set by the ATF and are entirely outside our control. Ordering does not create a right to receive an item before the relevant form is approved.
- You must be legally eligible to acquire and possess the item, and it must be legal in your state and locality. It is your responsibility to know your own law. Placing an order is your representation that you are eligible.
- We may refuse or cancel any order, at any point, where we believe a transfer would be unlawful, where a dealer's licence cannot be verified, or where information given to us is inaccurate. If we cancel, we refund what you paid us.
- Export. These items are subject to United States export control law. Do not export or re-export them without the required authorisation.
Orders, pricing and availability
An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept it. Listing a product is not a guarantee that it is in stock.
We take care with pricing and product information, but errors happen. Where a price or description is materially wrong, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than supply on the stated terms. Prices exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.
Dealer and distributor pricing is offered on account terms agreed separately and is conditional on holding a current, valid licence on file with us.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping and returns are covered by our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Regulated items that have been transferred on an approved ATF form cannot simply be returned; sending one back is itself a regulated transfer and must be arranged with us in advance.
We warrant our suppressors against defects in materials and workmanship in normal use. The warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorised modification, use with inappropriate ammunition or host firearms, or ordinary wear. Contact us before returning anything for service.
Safe use
Firearms and suppressors are dangerous if misused. Follow safe handling practice, use only ammunition and host firearms appropriate to the product, and read any instructions supplied. You are responsible for the safe and lawful use of what you buy.
Using this website
You may not use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain access to systems or data you are not authorised to reach, or scrape or copy its content for commercial purposes without our permission. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of these are happening.
All content on this site — text, images, product designs, logos and the marks "B.O.S.S.", "Black Ops Suppression Systems" and our product names — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not use it commercially without written permission.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Third-party links
Where we link to another website, including a dealer's own site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content, its products, or how it handles your information.
Disclaimers and limits
Except for the warranty stated above and any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, this website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, arising from your use of this website or of a product. Our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed what you paid us for it.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Stafford County, Virginia, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time you place your order, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
