Application Privacy Notice & End User Agreement
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This notice covers the internal business applications operated by Black Ops Suppression Systems, including our integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online. It sits alongside our main Privacy Policy, which governs everything we do and which you should read first. Where the two differ, the Privacy Policy controls.
Who we are
Black Ops Suppression Systems is a brand of Cavalry Drone Services LLC, a federally licensed firearms manufacturer and Special Occupational Taxpayer at 16 Long Branch Ln, Stafford, VA 22556, United States. Contact: info@bosscans.com.
The application
We operate an internal business-management application ("the BOSS system") used to run manufacturing, sales, shipping and federal firearms compliance. It is built and operated by us for our own use. It is not sold, licensed, distributed or made available to the public, and there is no public sign-up.
QuickBooks Online
The application connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online through the Intuit Developer Platform, subject to Intuit's API Terms of Service. Through that connection it reads and writes customer names and contact details, invoices, payment status, items and related accounting records.
Data obtained from QuickBooks Online is used only to run our own business — invoicing, order management, reconciliation and compliance recordkeeping. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or shared with anyone for their own purposes.
Access can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, which ends the connection.
Where data is held, and who else touches it
The application runs on servers we own and operate in the United States. Compliance records are kept on systems that are not reachable from the public internet.
It also exchanges data with the service providers needed to run the business — including BigCommerce and Square for the store, ShipStation, FedEx and EasyPost for shipping, FastBound for the federal acquisition-and-disposition record, Microsoft 365 for email, and an artificial-intelligence service used to sort incoming business email. The full list, and what each receives, is in our Privacy Policy.
Note: an earlier version of this page said data was not transmitted to any external service beyond QuickBooks Online and FastBound. That was accurate when it was written in April 2026 and is no longer accurate as the business has grown. It has been corrected here rather than left standing.
Retention
Business and accounting records are retained as required by tax law. Records relating to firearms — the acquisition-and-disposition record and associated ATF forms — are created and retained as federal law requires, and cannot be deleted on request. See the Privacy Policy for what that means for a deletion request.
End User Agreement
Access to the BOSS system is granted by us to our own personnel and authorised partners. If you have been given an account:
- Use it only for the business purpose it was issued for.
- Do not share your credentials, and do not attempt to reach data or functions you have not been granted.
- Access is logged and audited, including which documents are opened.
- Access may be withdrawn at any time.
- The software is provided without warranty and remains our property.
Some functions — including the federal firearms records — are deliberately restricted to the on-site network and are not available over the internet, whatever permissions an account holds.
